👍I actually had that thought too, but on my 8.8 they are smooth and not with small square surfaces

The guide rings are available in different versions, they do not have to be smooth on the inside 😉 Take a look here: Open link: nat.museum-digital.de

I put the fragments on the guide rings of my 8.8, see picture above. The upper ones could have marks from the rifling in the barrel, the lower ones are just upside down, so the squares are actually facing inwards. The body of the grenade is of course dismantled.
