October 2025 Contest: Between October 1, 2025, and October 31, 2025, publish a new find in the Finds section that receives more likes than all other finds posted in October. The winner will be announced on November 1, 2025, and will receive: A BIG Coinpad from V-Tector with over 15 functions in black, white, or green. An additional set of color rings in your choice of color. Only finds published in October will be counted. The number of likes received by October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM will count towards the ranking. In the event of a tie, the first find posted wins. The find doesn't have to have been made in October. It can also be an older find that hasn't been published in the Finds Show yet and will be added to the Finds Show during the October period.

I'm already seeing some great finds in the running and am excited to see what happens over the long weekend. I wish everyone a happy holiday and, of course, lots of likes!

It's November 1st, and with it comes the winner of the first monthly challenge, "Most Likes in October for a Find." There were some fantastic finds to see, including a golden brooch, Roman coins, and one discovery that thrilled everyone. After a year, another piece of the bronze sword has surfaced, which Bernd is now gradually lengthening. We're eager to see when the tip will appear and congratulate him on winning a BIG Coinpad from V-Tector and an additional set of functional rings in his chosen colors. From reliable sources, I'd also like to share a wonderful gesture. Bernd is passing on his Coinpad to a metal detectorist in her preferred colors and treating himself to his own BIG Coinpad after bravely testing our prototype for over a year in all kinds of weather and temperatures. A huge thank you to all participants—you're the best! To give everyone another chance to win a BIG Coinpad in November, the new November challenge, "Reichspfennigs," starts TODAY.
