Hanging loop in the shape of a hand, to which a shaft fragment of around 26 mm in length with a square cross-section is attached, which is decorated with circular eyes on all sides. The broken edge at the end shows that the shaft fragment here turned into a round shaft. This is a fragment of a writing stylus from the so-called Harz group, which dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries.
