There were probably 3 mints in the "Kingdom of Westphalia" (1807-1813): Braunschweig, Clausthal and Kassel. The constitution of 1807 prescribed francs and centimes as currency, but the French coin system was rejected by society, which is why from 1808 onwards, token coins were minted again in the established style.
