Description: 
Terra Sigillata shard - the characteristic red glossy coating has been almost completely rubbed off. Fragments of this high-quality ceramic from the Roman Rhine provinces can also be found - albeit rarely - in Germanic graves and settlements far east of the Rhine, for example in the Hanover region.
