Oh, now I'm getting a red patina on my face Jan, thanks for the compliment. I have to make some videos about cleaning again. But next up is a probe video, and then Minelab has asked me to do some work on the subject of Manticore, such as the conductivity of different metals, and then something about the 2D display, which has a number of advantages 😉

Hello Markus, I knew that. Don't worry, there will be more of those. I'll add the sickle piece from the BZ in the next few days, even though I've already reported it to Sebastian Messal. But I think it might be very interesting for the group here. Yesterday I just had to clarify with the NLD that I can use the site here to report finds 😉

Very good! Because it's not just about recording and reporting the finds, but also about presenting the finds as accurately as possible with good (!) photos and descriptions, so that firstly other detectorists can be trained to be able to identify their own finds better and secondly, some UFOs can be identified more precisely using "swarm intelligence". Because there are specialists for every specialty... I'm looking forward to the sickle, see you soon, Markus

I think that's good too, Markus, because with 6 years of experience as a detectorist I've often found UFOs and need a really good network to be able to identify certain finds. My special areas are cleaning finds and munitions. Because I believe that you should know your enemy better than yourself, and what is the enemy of every archaeologist and detectorist, well, the evil munitions, especially those that you don't immediately recognize. I'll take pictures of the sickle piece at the weekend and upload them here. I'm still a bit busy setting up my areas here, which is almost a year's job in itself given the huge area that I'm particularly allowed to be in 😅😉. But I'll start uploading finds tomorrow.
