Note on cleaning:
This find has been cleaned chemically or mechanically, which can lead to the destruction of the intact patina and surface of the find. All finds should first be presented to the responsible archaeologist for identification in order to decide on further cleaning.
That might be a good fit. How did you get yours so clean, or did it come out of the ground like that?

I cleaned the button again, but the writing is now barely legible, but I think you're right. I've included your button as a reference, I hope that's OK? The only question that remains is how the button got onto the field...

Yes, of course. You can use it as a reference. In the field where I found mine, prisoners of war were used to farm it. The farmer told me. Lots of uniform buttons were found in the field: Russia WWI, France WWIII, Prussia WWI, Kingdom of Hanover Post, Prussia Hussar uniform. Very interesting.
