Earring probably because earrings hang freely and pendants rest on the décolleté and since the stone sticks out a little on both sides it would probably be more of a nuisance on the décolleté

Since I rarely wear pendants on my décolleté lately, I would never have thought of this fitting choice - thank you very much 🙏😊
