Removing all the patina with the help of "coin cleaner" was not a good idea at all! The copper surface now looks very damaged. The brooch probably belongs to the Art Nouveau period, i.e. the beginning of the 20th century.

Yes, that was a very unfortunate/stupid thing and goes back to my beginnings. 🙈 I'm uploading more photos and 2 videos of the uncleaned state, where you can see the patina - I had made a backup before cleaning. You only make that mistake once. Let's see it as a cautionary tale of a failed find cleaning. Cleaner used: Markus Brüche silver/universal cleaner diluted 1:20. Top cleaner but used on the wrong find. The correct thing to do here would have been to clean only with water and carefully with a soft brush (baby toothbrush).
