Description: 
Please let us know or comment if anyone knows of any suitable comparisons for this brooch type! The design of the pin holder is definitely not medieval, but rather similar to that of disc brooches from the Roman to Merovingian periods. The beaded edge, on the other hand, suggests a date from the 9th to 11th centuries.
